x9x9x9x9x9x9x8插槽Eric Clapton於2004年在達拉斯的Cotton Bowl舉辦Crossroads吉他音樂節，邀請了各種風格的吉他大師Folk（James Taylor），Jazz（John McLaughlin），gospel (Robert Randolph & the Family Band)，Indian classical music (Vishwa Mohan Bhatt)，Blue Grass（Dan Tyminski & Ron Block），Latin（Carlos Santana）以及速彈大師Steve Vai。但音樂節的主題仍是Blues，包括B.B King, Buddy Guy, Jimmie Vaughan, Robert Cray 以及Robert Lockwood Jr. Honeyboy Edwards這樣的老藝人，演奏了大量經典blues，當然還有可愛的德州blues樂隊ZZ Top。電影評論：吉他群英會255分鍾剪輯版。上半場，Robert Randolph的那副pedal steel guitar，形製酷似燒烤架。下半場，Steve Vai＆band四手聯彈I'm The Hell Outta Here，帥炸天。
